Tenacious Taylor: The Story of a Fashion Start-Up

Charlotte tweaking her model

Meet Charlotte Taylor and remember that name: Charlotte Taylor.

This girl literally embodies the words dedication and talent. Don’t believe me? This is how she’s spent the past 8 months: she quit her job at Luella working in the creative marketing department, moved home to cut costs (The Isle of Wight, although she’s originally from the North of England), started a blog that documented her first foray into the business world, got chosen to be part of Vauxhall Fashion Scout and finally presented at London Fashion Week… Yes, I know… In one word: amazing. read more

Highlight: TER ET BANTINE Women’s A/W 10 Fashion Show

TER ET BANTINE

TER ET BATINE will be showing their A/W 1o collection on Saturday the 27th of February as part of Milan Fashion Week.

The label has always had an interesting and fascinating take on femininity. The garments are undoubtedly flattering to the female form, however what makes the clothes so alluring and at the same time three dimensional is that designer Manuela Arcari manages to bring a certain sense of masculinity and strength to her creations, creating a compelling harmony between male and female shapes and silhouettes.

The show will begin at 6.30 PM, don’t miss it!

Shop of the Week – Wolf & Badger

After a stressful stroll through the crowded masses of antiques and textiles that line Portobello Road in London’s Notting Hill, I came to a clearing. And there, a glistening facade of silver and black, was Wolf & Badger–also crowded, but a crowd I endured to bear witness to quite possibly the most stunning curation of innovative design I have ever seen. George Graham, the store’s Director, was so kind as to give TribaSpace an interview. read more
